Next week I’m going to go old school and post the most romantic/cute/whatever music videos so look forward to it! It’s going to feature some of the best imo MVs that have a significantly sad storyline most of which are probably Korean! Haha

Arashi – One Love Live Performance

Arashi performed their recent single One Love on music station on June 20, 2008. I love Arashi but their girlyness is way too much sometimes. I’m really surprised they’re still popular with their old school Jpop. They’ve had a few hits here and there but nothing I would expect to fuel their careers for 10 years. Guess I’ll never truly understand Japan. Btw what’s up with the random ball room dancing?

Vietnamese DBSK – Rising Sun

LOL! Vietnam decided it would be cool to do a cover of Dong Bang Shinki – Rising Sun. For a Vietnamese, I found it to be really embarrassing. Could they not be more original? I have no idea who the 5 guys doing the cover are but they’re doing a horrible job. Although I have to admit it’s funny as hell to listen to the song in Vietnamese especially when they SLOW DOWN.

W-Inds – Ame Ato Live Performance

Look it’s W-Inds! They performed this song at Music Japan and it’s been awhile since I’ve heard or seen them. All I have to say is that they don’t look as cute as they did when they were jailbait. They also don’t sound the same, someone hit puberty! I was really disappointed to see this performance. Not that it was bad I just miss the younger version of them. It’s a sad day in hell when W-Inds grew up. 

Yui – Summer Song

Yui’s new single. If you liked her “I Love Yesterday” album, you’ll like this one too. Yui is amazing on the guitar and the video is cute but this song doesn’t really spark anything for me. Honestly her best hit was Life or Rolling Star, which was a few albums ago.

Anna Tsuchiya – Crazy World

Anna Tsuchiya comes back the music scene after the death of her ex husband. She’s performing Crazy World from Japan on June 13th. She sounds a bit like an enka singer in this song but then again she always has. Any who I actually like this song with its weird mysterious rock beat but the girl who raps with Anna in the song sounds like a guy.

The Anna Tsuchiya vid is kinda weird too me cuz her english isn’t all that great. I can see her as a rocker, but I’m not a big fan of jrock in general.
