So what happen to Jabbawockeez? »

A few weeks ago I blogged about how awesome Hana Yori Dango is and that Korea is now picking up the series. I also mentioned the movie for the Japanese version was coming out, and guess what? It did! Like the horrible fan that I am, I completely forgot about its release on June 28th. Regardless, the movie did extremely well.

Over 400 screens were seen by 805,350 people making 1,005,798,910 yen in a two day period. That’s better than the much anticipated Indiana Jones: The Kingdom and The Crystal Skull which only made 806,427,400 yen in its first weekend. Take that Harrison Ford! In addition, it’s getting great reviews. On IMDB, the movie received a 9.8 out of 10 rating by fans and critics.

Aside from the great and continuing success in Japan, Asian forum boards across the world are crying out for the Hana Yori Dango DVD including me. The release of the DVD has yet to be announced but we can hope that it’s soon because the trailers and teasers aren’t making the wait any easier.

The movie is takes place after season two where Domyouji finally proposes to Makino after 2 years of hardships and heartbreak. They two are getting married! But of course, there’s trouble before they can take their final vows. A billion yen tiara belonging to the Domyouji family is given to Makino to wear for the wedding; however, it’s stolen by thieves. Again F4 comes to Makino side to help her get back the tiara but there are complications. Makino suspects her first love and F4 member Hanazawa Rui of causing the whole ordeal. In addition, Makino is having doubts about the marriage.

Oh noes! It’s obvious they’ll be together but the journey is always fun to watch. God I can’t wait to see it.

I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH! I can’t wait to see the movie. Does anyone know where I can find it?

What’s so great about it? I think Gokusen is better.


Gokusen is good but for the romantic types of drama I think Hana Yori Dango is the best!


Gokusen went on for 3 seasons, that says a lot for a Japanese TV show.


Hana Yori Dango was going to come out with a third season but they went for a movie.


I think they’re both doing well.


Yeah haha I liked both so who cares. I want to see the movie but I can wait.


Haha I CAN’T wait. I really want to see it.
