Weekly Music Round Up July 19

Here ya go! Interesting week all together but thank God it’s over. If you were at the event this past weekend then you know how hard everyone worked. Be sure to thank them for me onegai seh mas!

Hyori Lee feat Nassun – U Go Girl



Wth was she thinking? I was hoping (surprisingly) that her video would be better than the crap 30 second preview but turns out it’s just as bad if not worse. For someone who went on a hiatus for 2 years, you would think she would develop better taste than bite off of other stars. Not only does the video resemble Christina Aguilera – Candyman but also Pussycat Dolls – Buttons. Hrm, some comeback Hyorish.

Namie Amuro – Do Me More



Namie Amuro has always been one of my favorite singers but this song is just weird. Not only is the title a bit provocative, the video makes no sense. Then again most of her videos don’t.

2AM – This Song



Here’s JYP’s newest boy band 2AM. No idea what the name means but if you watch the video you see them training in their earlier years. Child labor means anything? It’s cute to watch them dance though. They sing better than most of the other boy bands but like all Korean bands, they need a better stylist. Bowl cut went out of style years ago. Wait nvm, it was never in style.

ING – Lucky Star



One of my favorite songs in Chinese! It’s old but I thought it was too cute to pass up. I don’t listen to very many Chinese or Hong Kong artists nor do I know very many so it was a delight to find ING. Better than Twins imo.

Xing – The Lion Sleeps Tonight



They killed a really good song. Yes they’re a new boy band and yes they’re cute. Big surprise to me! They can sing for the most part but I don’t see them surpassing DBSK any time soon. Oh and when I say they can sing, I meant in Korean.
