Earlier this month I reported about the famous Jdrama Hana Yori Dango was now coming to Korea. Well they’re still in the middle of casting which was supposed to end before August but they’ve extended it for another month. Just hurry up and grab a cute guy like Hero from DBSK and everything will be okay!
While the other two Hana Yori Dangos (Taiwan and Japan) had pop boy band idols as part of the cast, it has yet to be confirmed whether or not the Korean version will have a pop idol. Supposedly they’ve tried out but no one has been confirmed. Not even Mr. Kim Yung Joong of SS501. Good new in my opinion. While he may slightly resemble the sexy Oguri Shun, there are definitely better choices. Plus he’s probably to busy playing house with Hwang Bo.
Well in other news, the Japan has just release the Hana Yori Dango movie not too long ago. I haven’t seen it yet but trust me I’m dying too. The movie did really great money wise in addition to the reviews. Let’s hope the Koreans can keep up with the Japanese. As excited as I am for the Korean version, there’s really a lot of pressure for them to produce a good series that’s their own and true to the original story.

I hope they get Hero too! He’s so cute~!
I wonder how it’s going to be different.
I really hope they don’t screw it up. haha Not that Korea has problems producing quality melodrams.
Maybe it’ll top Winter Sonata.
I think Hana Yori Dango is better than Winter Sonata.
Hard to say, Winter Sonata was really sad.
I never finished it. What happened?
Go watch it! haha
Haha Yeah you should. It was really good.
It’s so old I don’t think I’ll find it.
