This past weekend I blogged about FHM Magazine and incited a few lively comments among the Ningin readers about how Asian women tend to be more sexualized than Asian men. Well, apparently some sexy Pinoys want to prove them wrong. Cosmopolitan magazine in the Philippines will feature 69 shirtless hunks in this month’s issue of “Cosmopolitan Bachelor Bash 2008“. Gracing the cover of the centerfold is Darak Ramsay, who’s half-Pinoy/half-British. The list of all the names of the 69 models can be found here. God, my nose is bleeding at the mention of this already! By the way, why are there 69 models and not 67 or 60? Any sexual innuendo here?
Zo Aguila, editor-in-chief of Cosmo Philippines, tells the local media that screening a room full of gorgeous guys is a most enjoyable thing to do, but it’s no easy task. She says, “We always try to top our previous projects. So, this year’s bachelor list, if I may say so, is our best count by far. We were ultimately looking for hunks who fulfilled fantasies.” Bitch is seriously my idol. She just calls a spade a spade. The pretentious senior editor of FHM Magazine in Singapore should learn a thing or two from her. Unlike the pompous douchebag who insists on showcasing the FHM girls’ personalities via good interviews, Miss Aguila admits that her search criteria for the Cosmo Men consist of the swoon-worthiness and “hunkalicious” factor of the male models, and that certain charm that girls can easily toy with in their imagination.
