Hah! Here’s a little post I’m going to write with Jason in mind!

You know how Japanese girls are obsessed with cuteness, and how Asian girls in general are obsessed with bigger eyes. First, we had stick-on eyelashes, and way too much eyeliner, followed with eyelid surgery, glue and stickers. Then there was that short lived Korean contact lens craze, that turned your irises into one big black solid thing of blackness.

Now, the Japanese have gone one step ahead of that, and have created Anime Eyes! Yay! Extra irises for everyone!

Teehee! I do have to admit the “after” DOES look better, but that’s just my peer pressured, socially intimidated, Asian girl side talking. The feminist in me is raging, fow shure, But she’s easy to shut up with some chocolate and a new pair of stilettos. They even have stars in them!! See:

Owh! So purdy ^^. Don’t get me wrong, I am trying very hard to resist, and “Oh, those crazy Japanese…” the whole deal, but I think I should gets me a pair for big important research things… like cosplays and such :D Now, I know that patterned and coloured contact lenses have been around for a while, but this is the first time I’ve seen them modeled after anime fashion. Mebbe I just don’t get out enough.
