Is this for real? Here comes North Korea with their solution to world hunger, and if this takes off, Hollywood’s newest diet fad fo’ shure! These super speshul magic noodles are made of corn and soybeans, and apparantly contain twice the protein and five times the fat of ordinary wheat noodles, helping you feel fuller for longer.

Maybe, they should just open up a MacDonald’s there. Last time I very scientifically checked, it had a hundred times the fat of everything else. It’s like eating whale blubber only yummier! Drool drool.

According to the BBC News, creation of magic noodles stemmed from:

“An estimated one million people starved to death in North Korea in the late 1990s after natural disasters and government mismanagement devastated the country’s economy. In July, the World Food Programme warned that six million people were in urgent need of food aid, following severe flooding last year. Most households had cut their food intake and more people are scavenging for wild foods.”

Ontoppadat, North Korean is heavily dependent on foreign food aid, while still stubborn and reluctant to allow adequate access to their country for aid to be delivered.

However, now North Korean scientists have come up with a solution to that problem, thanks to Dear Leader of course. With this so-called “technological breakthrough”, surely they can also make millions marketing it to the dieters of the world. Foreign food aid? We scoff at foreign food aid. We have foreign food aid for breakfast… well, we wish we did. Why is he so mean to his own people? :( He needs a heart, like the tinman. And a new hairdresser, like the scarecrow. And a house to fall on him…
