I’m sure by now most of you have probably seen or heard about these little “real” (read, FAKE) Pikachus going on sale for a cool 925 million… (what are we talking here? Rupees? Rupiah?? Dong??) Which leads me to think about the real real-life pikachus. They’re actually quite cutesy!

These little darlings are called “Pikas”, and although they might not have the lightning tails or the pointy ears, they really are quite similar to their wee po-ke counterparts, being all furry and tiny and black beady eyesey and all.

While, they look like hamsters, they’re actually rabbit cousins, perhaps accounting for Pikachu’s long ears. Who knows, but I wants one!

I love how they’re always pictured carrying something in their mouths for nest building! (Er… do they live in nests? Who cares! They’re so kyoot!) Also, they release a high pitched “eeee” sound. Surprisingly enough, they DON’T say “pika…chu!” though admittedly that would be super cool. I’m sure they don’t cost 925 million anything as well, and if you really wanted too, I bet they would fit in a pokeball… *SquIsh*
