Halloween and the election, what a busy week! Since the election, I’ve been watching CNN and the Colbert Show religiously. I’m so happy that Obama won and can’t wait to see him in action. Btw did any of you guys vote?
Any who, here’s this week’s music round up with a new photo. I figured it was about time to change it up since this old one is so last season.
As always, enjoy.
Avril Lavigne – Hot (Mandarin)
She’s made Asian versions of this song; however, none of them sound good. It’s pretty fobby in terms of it being uber American. She should just stick to her Canadian ways.
Start of the Day – Hero of the Starry Night
It’s an old song but I’ve never heard of this band before and they seem relatively unknown. I really like the song but it bothers me a lot that I can’t tell whether or not they’re singing in English or Japanese. The lead singer’s accent is really heavy and her high pitched voice doesn’t help.
Wonder Girls – Nobody Rainstone Remix
I have the “Nobody” album and I really enjoyed this remix. Not only that but they look 10x better in this video than what they have been wearing (the tacky mismatched outfits). They seriously need to get rid of those Seo In Young wigs.
Breakerz – Winter Party
Of all winter songs I’ve ever heard, this has to be one of the worst. It’s not catchy nor does it give me that warm feeling of the Christmas season. If anything, the guys are cute.
UVERworld – Hakanaku mo Towa no Kanashi
This is their new song which is also the Gundam 00 opening. They never disappoint me. I first discovered them through Bleach (like everyone else) and I fell in love. While I am a fan of this single, I still prefer D-technolife.
