A few weeks ago, Andrew talked about a restaurant called Home’s Kitchen. He highly recommended the place so I made him take me and my boyfriend there.

From beginning to end, the experience was amazing. Not only was the food the best I’ve ever tasted (probably), but the restaurant was the nicest I’ve been to in NYC. They redesign their little hole in the wall awhile ago and now it looks like a five start restaurant.

Getting to the food, we had Andrew order everything since he considers this place his second home (he lives a block away from it). Everything he ordered was so amazing; I’m even crazing it as I write this. My favorite of all the dishes was the Peking duck; apparently they prepare it a little different there by skinning off the layer of fat off of the skin. I don’t know if it made a difference since it’s been so long but it wasn’t bad at all.

Overall I would say I would eat there again…and again and again. If you’re ever in NYC, you should definitely try it.
