Like so many BoA fans, I excitedly waited for the event that would be aired live on Youtube. The concert was billed as a pan-Pacific web-cast of live performances by BoA and other artists. However, within the first 30 minutes of the show BoA’s name was taking off the roster of the upcoming performance artists. I began to comment why is BoA off the roster but my comments were never approved. It made me wonder if they canceled her performance because it would not be the first time a Korean artist cancels on us. Watching the rest of Youtube Live, there was no news and a lot of bad performances.

Those who performed were full of lackluster and silliness. I don’t know what was worse, the fact the show was all fillers or that the fillers were not-entertaining. The Emcees Michael Buckley and William Sledd couldn’t find their personalities even if they were neon colored! Seriously next time Youtube take a lesson. One thing that saved the show was the talented DJ Mike Relm and his unique and creative background music. His solos saved me every-time I wanted to poke my eyes out with a Q-tip covered in vinegar.

Of the Asian performances, there was Joe Satriani with Funtwo, Planet B-Boy and Jon M Chu and his league of extraordinary dancers. They were all amazing performances and watching them calmed me down enough to wait for BoA.

I kept commenting “where was she” but my comments weren’t approved! They approved how someone wanted to “fuck Katy Perry” but not “Where is BoA?” What was funnier was every page had people asking where NigaHiga is? So more Asians missing from the line up and audience, me thinks conspiracy! One of the performances was called welcome to Youtube by Bo Burnham. In the song he mentions that the top Youtubers are Asian!

In the end, BoA’s performance was separate. She should have never been on the list of upcoming artists in the first place!

His performance was too short. I wish he went longer. There were a lot of Youtubers that i wish were there but weren’t like Mia said.


No there was worse.


Katy Perry was the worst imo. She sounded so bad.


I fell asleep half way through and was happy I did.


Some of them were good.


Definitely didn’t miss anything special.


I didn’t catch it live, and I’m glad I didn’t. Big fuss over nothing much. Much of the American acts aren’t that great either.

I watched it twice. I was half asleep during the first perfs so I couldnt stay awake. Then i rewatched it. I still am upset to have missed genki rockets cause they are super kawaii

This pissed me off. I mean wtf! UghH!

The whole thing was just royally stupid especially the chadvader and will it blend. Thank god we didnt pay for that. if it was payperview I would have wanted my money back.

I dont understand why didnt they make it a pan pacific event like it was billed or why did they add boa’s name to the upcoming performers then pull it off.

The whole thing was just boring? Stacking cup kids? Mythbuster Paint ball machine???? Michael Buckley dissing on that Hannah Montana girl… How original was that!?!?
