The idea behind this contest is to help spread the word about BoA. What better way to do than to ask her ever-loving fanbase to help right? You see, being a star — being popular in general — is more about numbers than anything else. The more times people see you, the more people know about you, the more likely you’ll become a hit. She’s already a household name in Asia, but not so much in America or Western media.
That’s where fans can change things and why Ningin has dedicated so much of our time and energy in BoA putting together this special 5 day BoA event. BoA is an extremely talented, down-to-earth, good-natured, all-around amazing performer. We knew that BoA has a really strong likelihood of crossover success relative to other Asian pop stars and so we made a great effort to showcase that with our interview of BoA and with our special BoA website.
So what we’re saying is, we did our part to help her and now we need you to do your part as fans of BoA. Monday morning, we’ll be making everything — interviews, music videos, photos, everything — available for download in high definition. You can even copy and paste, word for word, all the articles that we’ve written about BoA. Then all you have to do is upload it to your YouTube, MetaCafe, Veoh, Flickr, Facebook, Myspace, DeviantArt, and the hundreds of other video, photo, social networking sites out there. This is why we originally put everything in Creative Commons license.
When you do, send us the link by private messaging boa_contest and you give yourself the chance to win the following autographed prizes:

Since the prizes are limited and we expect more than 5 people to enter, we’ll again be using our super complex random winner selector. But we can give users different chances of winning, so the more links you send us, the better your chances of winning. It’s kind of like the NBA lottery system.
We’ll be putting all the names of the people who entered into a big, over-sized card which we’ll send to BoA herself! This way, she will know the names of all who helped her cross over. So include your real name and location (city, state, country) in the private message as well if you want BoA to know who you are.
It’ll be great if you can mention Ningin with a link back to http://boa.ningin.com, but we’re not going to track you down if you don’t. We’re also doing this in hopes that other Asian sites like Ningin and the record label themselves will follow suit and give away their BoA content.
