Sometimes I wish I had a cheaper hobby. As much as I love video games, they really suck my poor bank account empty. It doesn’t help when I have the internet telling me what games are coming out in United States and what games are released in Japan, which I hope some of them do see English localisations! A girl can dream! Now I just need to conjure up more money for these games that interest me in 2009. It’s going to be another expensive gaming year.

Ar Tonelico II

- I wonder how it will be. I have the first one (that I haven’t played yet), so I am interested in its sequel. But first, let me play the prequel!
PlayStation II, US Release Date: January 20, 2009

Gyakuten Kenji

- I hope they localise this. If they don’t, Capcom’s receiving an angry e-mail from me. I’ll even get my friend who knows Japanese to type it up. Seriously, I hope this comes out. This is one game I must have and play!
DS, Japan Release Date: Spring 2009

Star Ocean: The Second Revolution

- I don’t have a PSP, but I am tempted to get it just because of games like this. This is one series I really need to try, so now I’m interested in trying both the first game and this for the PSP. Man. I need more moola.
PlayStation Portable, US Release Date: January 6, 2009

Star Ocean: The Last Hope

- Here’s another system I don’t have but am seriously considering on purchasing it. Hrm. I already have Tales of Vesperia in my possession. Anyway, this Star Ocean game is a prequel to the first game. I would like to check it out.
XBox 360, US Release Date: March 3, 2009

Final Fantasy XIII

- PlayStation III or XBox 360 version. Hm. Regardless, I’m anticipating on this game. The graphics just look so smexy. But we’ll see if I actually get it.
PlayStation III & XBox 360, Release Date: WHO KNOWS?

Suikoden Tierkreis

- Thank you Konami for giving us a release date! I just hope the English version isn’t filled with mistakes due to the quick localisation! I just hope it’s fantabulous and worth my money when I receive it in my hands.
DS, US Release Date: March 17, 2009

Sigma Harmonics

- Dear Squenix, please bring this to the US. The soundtrack is bloody awesome, so that makes me wonder if the game is just as great. BRING IT. PLEASE.
DS, Japan Release Date: August 21, 2008, US Release Date: PLEASE COME OUT

Professor Layton and the Demon’s Box

- I hope we hear some news about this game. Not only this one, but its sequel as well! At this rate, I wonder if the English fans will ever see this released at all.
DS, Japan Release Date: November 29, 2007, US Release Date: BRING IT

Little King’s Story

- Shimomura-sama arranged classical music pieces in this game, and as a classical music lover, it excites me! I probably wouldn’t buy it (have no interest in the Wii), but I’d certainly wouldn’t mind watching someone play this. If not, I’ll just stick with the soundtrack.
Wii, US Release Date: February 17, 2009
