Happy holidays everyone! Hope you’re enjoying the final days of 2008. I’m still waiting for winter to be over and someone to invent a time machine.

It’s been awhile since I’ve done a regular Weekly Round Up. Been so busy this past month, I’m surprised I still have time to blog!

Anyways, here’s your wrap up. Enjoy!

KAT-TUN – White X’MAS

Came out earlier this month but wasn’t able to talk about it. KAT-TUN is awesome and their Christmas jingle makes me happy and somewhat sad. The emo song isn’t what you would except for the holiday season but if you don’t pay attention, their beautiful faces are enough to keep you cheering till 2009.

Inoue Joe – Closer

I just discovered Inoue Joe a few weeks ago. Turns out he’s an Asian American (and hot) who went to Japan to become a Jrocker. Nice move imo. Not only is he hot but the boy has mad skills. He can play all guitar and drums and still make the girls swoon over his emo hair cut.

Kara – Pretty Girl

I’m so sick of this song, it’s not even funny. It’s not only over performed, the lyrics are a bit confusing to me. Then again when does Engrish ever make sense? If they didn’t look so cute in their mini skirts, I don’t think anyone would take a second look.

Kollaboration 9 Promo Trailer

Mikey was nice enough to share this promo trailer for the event with us on the forums and I became instantly taken with it. The trailer features a few Asian American artists performing a cover of Chris Brown – Forever. I’ve been listening to it non-stop.

Teriyaki Boyz feat. Pharrel – Work It

If you’re going to make a song about booties, at least get some nice butts. These girls look so flat and they can’t really shake it at all. It looks like a cheap porno. But ignoring all that, Teriyaki Boyz didn’t do that bad with the song. I can actually understand their English which gives me hope for their album release under Pharrel’s label.
