Asian American International Film Festival is calling for entries for 2009!

Held by Asian Cinevision (ACV), New York City’s longest running festival of Asian and Asian American films is looking for new talent. Films featured at last year’s festival included “Half-Life“, “Ping Pong Playa“, “Kissing Cousins”, “Princess of Nebraska“, and “Wings of Defeat“. Submissions are being considered for the following categories:
Narrative Features
Documentary Features
Short Films
Youth Films (under 20)

Festival Award categories:
Emerging Director–Narrative Feature
Emerging Director–Documentary Feature
Excellence in Short Filmmaking
Best Screenplay
For Youth by Youth: One to Watch

The Regular Deadline is February 11. You HAVE to have your film postmarked by that date.
Otherwise, you’re on the Late and Final Deadline of February 25.
