Celebrate Chinese New Year a little late with Jolin Tsai (蔡依林; Cài Yīlín) and Energy at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. There will be two performances on Sunday, February 8th; one at 2am and one at 2pm. (Yes, people really do go to the 2am show! Trust me.)

Jolin is a Golden Melody Award-winning Taiwanese singer, actress and dancer. She was discovered through a singing competition when she was eighteen-years-old and released her debut album “Jolin 1019″ in 1999. Jolin is known as the “Dancing Diva” after her album of the same name and her performance at the 2006 MTV Asia Awards.

She was last in the US performing with Energy at the San Jose State Event Center back in November, 2007. Ningin’s own Jerry Chen was at the show and gave it a thumbs up! (We were going to post a fan video of the show, but Jerry someone kept screaming in the background.)

Tickets are $168, $128, $88 and $58 and can be purchased through online here or by phone from International Entertainment Marketing (IEM) at 718-888-3113. IEM is based out of New York City.

i went to the San Jose perf and it was great! though i must admit i felt a bit odd cheering next to lil kids when she was pole dancing. but hey.. its ok. its a family event.

Not this time. We already had planned other contests before Jolin announced her show. You don’t have to live close to the show to win the new contests. You just need someplace to receive US Mail.

In fact, there’s going to a new contest starting this week!

Concert Season starts once agaiN! I bet she’s going to be terrific live!


I don’t know about Jay and Jolin having a concert together, like just the two of them alone… whether or not the rumors about their past relationship are true, I don’t think they would perform together unless they wanted the media to revive old drama.

Mohegan is so lucky!
