Very few women in this world can pull off a Christian Lacroix haute couture dress beyond the runway. Slumdog Millionaire’s leading lady Freida Pinto is one of those women. At the Golden Globes this month, she rocked a Christian Lacroix dress from the Fall 2008 season that’s got her on both best and worst dressed lists. Me? I find her absolutely stunning. Off the runway, most Christian Lacroix dresses I’ve seen only make people look like the dress is wearing them. The architecture, draping and color of the dress on Freida is equally as beautiful as Freida! Thus, she is a force to be reckoned with!

What list is Freida on for you? Who would you like to see her wearing at the Oscars?

She looks beautiful.

It’s such a nice dress. I wish it was a different color though.

That is an awesome dress. I wonder if she’ll start acting in any US movies.

I would like to see her in Dior!

She has a really nice smile. smile

How is she on both lists? She obviously looks stunning!

Two thumbs up from me. smile But I agree with Sakura, a different color would have made it better.

I wonder what she’ll wear to the Academy Awards.

It definitely works on her. Someone with a more substantial frame would fill that dress out the wrong way. She’s gorgeous in it! I never trust the best/worst lists.

Yeah they’re always based on one person’s opinion.

Sometimes they’re good. haha The bottom of the dress looks a bit torn.

A dress is a dress to me. smile

That potato sack drowns her beauty. They just dont match. It needed a plain girl to truly be seen. She should have wore a white or ecru beaded Reem Acra A line with little or no straps. Not a dramatic as a katie heigel look but someone classic.

Or I would have liked to see her go the audry heapburn (spelling have no clue) route. Something very 50’s inspired. White with Black embroidery and a full tool bottom

The real problem is that she looks good in anything.

she is a hottie no matter what she wears!
