Every Monday, for the remainder of February, will be JYP Tour 2009 day on Ningin. All our blog articles will be something related to JYP, Wonder Girls, or 2PM. We will reveal a new contest on these days, and we will make new stuff available to download. All of this information is neatly organized in our special JYP Tour 2009 coverage area:

Since Ningin’s birth, it’s been obvious that our breadth of content is attracting a lot of different types of people; those interested in anime, kpop, jpop, films, Asian American stuff, and those interested in some combination of all the different categories under the umbrella of Asian media. Whatever your interests may be, we just want to be a resource for you – a constantly growing and evolving guide to the many different facets of Asian media. We hope that you’ll tell your friends about us, and the people, artists and cultures that we profile so that more and more people know about Asian talents such as the Wonder Girls, JYP, and 2PM.

In addition to all the content given to us by JYP Entertainment, Ningin bloggers will be writing their own articles about the Wonder Girls, JYP, and 2PM. For those new to kpop, we hope they serve as good primers. Of course, we don’t have any experts on these particular artists on staff, but hopefully the articles will still be entertaining to those faithful Wonder Girls, JYP, and 2PM fans. (Any experts want to join our blog staff?)

The responses to the Wonder Girls’ blog have been great so far. They do visit Ningin multiple times a day and read your comments. We’re very happy to provide this direct way for Wonder Girls fans to communicate with their favorite artists. But let’s keep the discussion civil, ok?

Again, I want to thank JYP Entertainment and their partners for their collaborative spirit. We’re really happy that we could help their artists connect with their fans and the American audience.

P.S. Those new to Ningin, let us know what you think of our site so far by posting in this comment thread. You just might win something nice…

Update: Forgot to mention Happy Two-year Anniversary to the Wonder Girls. We didn’t plan to start this campaign today, it just kinda happened that way. Funny how things worked out.

i wished i could have gone but i was broke. the venue was only 30 mins away too...oh well. since they plan on debuting they might have more concerts here in the US so i wish them good luck!! smile

The Concert was AWESOME.....i wish that it said that the grand prize winners got concert tickets only because it said they are getting back stage passes and meet the wonder girls too but that never happened so we were crushed for having out hopes up. Sure we met them for one minute but thats all. I remember being promised at least 10~15 minutes with the Wonder girls and meet 2Pm and JYP too. Also they said we would be taking pictures and get our notebooks signed if we bring notebooks and stuff. But that never happened. We didn’t even get to meet 2PM or JYP. And it was obvious the Wonder Girls didn’t know who we were and why we were meeting them (What i’m saying is they didn’t know about Ningin or their dance contest..or at least it seemed like it to us). Idk maybe we had our hopes up too much but we were very disappointed and crushed. I hope this doesn’t happen to other contestant winners or people who get private invitations from JYP in the future. I am not trying to bash Ningin.com i just want to warn others. Don’t get me wrong the concert was really really good because we had standing tickets. But it’s just the others things we were promised that didn’t happen.

does that mean you guys didn’t perform with them either?

To my understanding, Platinum Heart was supposed to perform on stage at the LA show, but it was a grip of different YouTube kids that got to dance. We never got to meet Platinum Heart/go backstage for interviews either.
