The new Lil’ Mama music video for “Truly In Love” is truly significant for its ‘firsts.’ It’s the first time we hear a softer Lil’ Mama rapping AND singing in a 50s doo-wop sounding Solange Knowles-esque song. It’s probably the first time an Asian American male (singer/songwriter Love’ *Peter Toh) is featured in an American music video as a romantic interest. It’s also the first time we see Fanny Pak, dance crew of ABDC Season 2 fame, in a music video. This, however, is not the first time I’ve liked a Lil’ Mama song.(Umm, whatchu know about me? Whatchu whatchu know about me?) Enjoy!

UPDATE! Peter Toh is NOT in this video. He just wrote and produced the song.

She can’t… sing… hahahahah. But I like her personality, even if she doesn’t really know what she’s talking about on ABDC sometimes. >_>

I SCREAMED WHEN I SAW PETER TOH. I was totally not expecting him. He was on SYTYCD right? x__x hahaha I didn’t remember his name.


I’m not into the song, but her new look is great. A couple of girls and I always wait for Lil Mama to come backstage because we’re excited to see what she’s wearing, haha. I think she’s gorgeous, and it’s nice to see her spinning along with Toh.


Yeah she sucks as a judge.


I still can’t forgive her for her first season of ABDC.  Her non-existent knowledge of the spoken word was an embarrassment.  half the time i was just trying to figure out what she was saying.  and I’m going to say it:  she should not have close ups.  PAN OUT!


I wish she picked a better dress.


Very different style. I kind of like it though. Her new look suits her.

Yeah that random dark scene when she was rapping was weird.


That music video was a nice change of pace, it had style.  Only thing I didn’t like was the choreography.


Brooklyn’s Oprah....I can’t believe she’s only 19 according to wiki. It’s a pretty chill song...not bad.


She can’t really sing but love her style.


lol Fanny Pak is pretty popular believe it or not.
