You’ve got just two days to enter and win a pair of tickets to the largest Asian American talent competition in United States! Ningin will be giving two winners each a pair of tickets to Kollaboration 9 in Los Angeles this Saturday, February 21. Ningin favorite BoA will be performing live as a special guest!

Over the past month, Ningin has spotlighted artists performing at Kollaboration 9, such as
Kenichi Ebina (Read the interview here),
Jane Liu (Read the interview here),
and now BoA has been added to the list of special guests! (Watch the interview here).

BoA will be performing her international single “Eat You Up,” which will be included on her upcoming American debut album tentatively titled Look Who’s Talking. Scheduled to be released on March 17 in the U.S., Look Who’s Talking will be also released in Japan boxed with her second greatest hits album as a 2-cd package called Best & USA.

Other guest performers at Kollaboration 9 include Jo Koy of Comedy Central, magician Norman Ng, and dance crews from MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew: Kaba Modern (Season 1), Fanny Pak (Season 2) and Team Millennia (Season 3) (Follow America’s Best Dance Crew every week here.)

Kollaboration 9 competitors for the first place talent prize of $3000 cash will be:
Jane Lui – award-winning songwriter and performer,
Paul Dateh – hip hop violinist,
David Choi – Warner Chappell songwriter and David Bowie award-winning songwriter and performer,
Kenichi Ebina – the only two-time Grand Champion of Showtime at the Apollo; actor and choreographer of the Japanese drama “Manhattan Diaries”,
Jazmin – the four-sister pop-group finalists of MTV’s “Top Pop Group” and NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”,
Kina Grannis –Singer and songwriter and winner of the 2008 Doritos Crash the Superbowl competition,
Lilybeth Evardome – Concerto protégé of Andrew Robinson of the Los Angeles Philharmonic

The talent judging panel is comprised of Printz Board (Producer of The Black Eyed Peas), James Kyson Lee (Actor of NBC’s “Heroes”), James Ryu (Editor-in-Chief of KoreaAm Journal and Audrey magazine), Welly Yang (director of Asian Excellence Awards), and Teddy Zee (Producer of “The Pursuit of Happyness” and “Hitch”).

Kollaboration 9 will be at the Shrine Auditorium, 665 West Jefferson Blvd, LA. The show is all ages. The afterparty will be at the Shrine Expo Hall (directly adjacent to the Shrine Auditorium). The afterparty is 18+ to enter, 21+ to enjoy the open-bar, courtesy of Hite Beer and Jinro Soju.

That means 9pm for you East Coast People. Which reminds me, neither Ningin nor Kollaboration are responsible for winner’s travel expenses. Winner’s names and email addresses will be shared with Kollaboration for ticket information. Winning pairs include tickets to both the show and the afterparty, valued at $70 a pair! Tickets will be available at the will call window on the day of show.
