On March 21 and 22, X Japan will be performing in Seoul for their world tour. The most expensive tickets (165,000 won = more or less $125) is already 99% sold, but I’m guessing it’s 100% sold out by now. The Korea Times reporter wrote how the tickets are selling fast despite South Korea’s gloomy economy. Well, now it’s my turn for being gloomy. I would have willingly shelled out the money for the good seats. Darn me for always hearing something too late. Then again, I could buy the cheaper tickets. If they haven’t sold out yet, that is. Knowing my luck, though, they will be sold out.
But HOMG. X Japan? The band who started the visual kei movement in Japan, the band who can scream out some heavy Jrock music and later woo us with their gorgeous ballads . . . there’s only one word to describe my reaction at the news of them coming here: AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
