Estimated to be done by 2014, South Korea will construct the world’s first robot theme park. This news article states that it will be in two Korean cities: Incheon and Masan. This will be a $530 million project.

I guess robotic lovers in South Korea will be happy when this project is done. I, for one, don’t particularly care much about robotics, but I sure wouldn’t mind visiting this place at least once.

It’s pretty warm in the South and in the West coast isn’t it?

It can get quite cold (like -7C to -10C) but not as cold as it could get.

It’s pretty easy to make a robot theme park. I mean the rides are always the same anyways.

Oo That’s sounds like fun. I want to go to a water park but its still too cold.

Six Flags!

Oo Which theme park are you going to?

I know! My friends and I are planning on going next week.

It’s theme park season!

That’s so cool, I wanna go there when it’s done :D

this is ridiculous. korea DOES NOT have money to afford this kind of stuff. they should stop trying so hard. koreans are working their ass off to even survive and the government is avoiding that

Same here! lol I hope to visit Japan or Korea by 2016. lol

whoa~ 2014?!? by then i would be like...19? 20?
oh yea...maybe i’ll plan a trip to the theme park.
it’s been LONG since i’ve been to one. hahaha

I wish I was a little kid again.

I haven’t been to a theme park in 5 years.

Go during the off season of tourism.

I am still ashamed after getting faked out the first time:

Holy crap.  At first glance it really did look real!

Do they have Disneyland in Korea?

Uhhh They have Seoul Land, Everland, Lotte World, and something else land or whatever.  Dreamland, I think.  But no Disney Land.

Don’t know but I think they have 5 different areas that all have themes. It’s super cool.

Are you going to visit the theme park once it’s built Tara?

If I’m still in Korea, sure, I’ll check it out.  Just to say I did.

Wait I’m confused, is it run by robots? Or is everything the park is about is robots?

I’m not sure.  I imagine it will have a place there that explains robotics, have robots running around, and uh robot-themed rides?  That’s what I’m guessing anyway.

They close down most of the rides on rainy days.

Go on a rainy day, its better. Barely anyone and so much fun.

Six Flags sucks this time around.
