The season finale of America’s Best Dance Crew is upon us! Who is it going to be, Beat Freaks or Quest Crew? This season, I’m freaking the vote and it’s not just because I have a vagina. I sincerely believe in the Beat Freaks. While it’s beyond me why anyone would need more than one reason why they should freak the vote, I’ve come up with a list of reasons why you should vote for Beat Freaks:

 
 
 
 
 
 

10. Apparently, President Obama watches ABDC with Malia and Sasha. If I were president, I’d want my daughters to root for a group of talented, strong women. (Week 2)

9. Think of Keely’s toddler Kalia. After being separated from your child for awhile, how would you like it if you told your daughter that your crew lost? Especially if your daughter is an aspiring dancer? Imagine the shame you would feel growing up if you were little Kalia.

8. Now that I’ve appealed to your emotions, isn’t it about time for the ladies to rise above the ashes and stake their claim in the dance world by becoming winners of America’s Best Dance Crew?

7. Shorty’s half-hour head spin. Have you ever seen someone head spin that long AND put shades on? Only to finish off relatively cool and collected enough to flash a smile and a peace sign? If that isn’t badass, I don’t know what is!

6. Two words: illusion challenge. Shane called it, “the best performance he’s ever seen in all of the seasons of America’s Best Dance Crew.” (Week 5)

5. We need more inspiring women for today’s youth. Miley Cyrus? No thanks.

4. Overt sexuality to sell talent is out, actually possessing talent is in.

3. The ladies have killer style! Beyonce’s “Diva” music video aside, I’d never thought I’d live to see the day that hip hop dancers would incorporate architecture into their clothing AND dance well! (Week 6)

2. Shane isn’t liberal with phrases like, “You ladies are America’s Best Dance Crew.” This is almost unheard of. Obviously, saying this to the Beat Freaks means something.

1. It’s probably already been decided by the MTV Gods. If you can’t beat ‘em, join them!

Jabbawockeez are still the best out of all 3 seasons.


Same here. Sorry BF. :( Although I’ll probably vote for both.


Beat Freaks had their moments but I wasn’t like WOWed.


Beat Freaks are cool but I was more entertained by Quest.

I’m going to have to disagree with many of your reasons:

You’re supposed to give us the top ten reasons why WE should vote for beat freaks.  This reason only suits you because it’s what YOU would want if YOU were president.

Using this logic, you’re saying if a member from Status Quo had a daughter like you described, people should vote for them.  If this is a legit reason, then Status Quo would beat Jabbawockeez. (which, as we all know, would have made no sense, and make the show be considered even more rigged).

I guess this would be a decent reason, but as you said, it’s AMERICA’S BEST DANCE CREW, and gender shouldn’t be a reason why Beat Freaks should win, even though it would be cool if an all girl group won.

I agree, her head spin was awesome.  But to vote for a crew just because one person can do this one awesome move?  It wouldn’t be enough to convince someone who never watched this show to vote for them.

Yes, this would be a good reason to vote for them.

There are plenty of inspiring women for today’s youth.  Hilary Clinton, Misty May and Kerri Walsh, and if you want to use Disney actors, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato would be good role models.  This is only a few of a big list.

Doesn’t Quest Crew have talent too?  This reason makes no sense at all.  This reason would only work if we were voting for either Beat Freaks or Fly Khicks.

That was in week 6, and Shane may have spoken too soon.  From an unbiased point of view, I think that Quest Crew’s week 7 would have received those same comments if it was any time before the Beat Freak’s week 6 dance.

This is your #1 reason?  This is by far the worst reason on this list.  It’s contradictory, because if it has already been decided by the “MTV Gods”, then how come you made this post to get people to vote for it?

It seems like your only good reasons are because of individual performances (reason 6 and 3).  But isn’t that why you would vote for a crew anyway?

Since this list was formed based on my totally biased opinion, it’s totally fine and respectable to disagree. Kudos to you, may you vote for the best dance crew (in your opinion)!


I really think Quest will win. ^^

She has a really big smile. I love it. She should be in a colgate commercial. lol! That’s reason 11!

Mola but wouldn’t be surprised if they did win. At least the Top 2 are decent crews unlike the last two seasons.
