I. Am. In. Love. *swoons* I never thought I’d actually fall in love with an athlete, but I have! I was at work, watching a rerun of the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships (4CC) on a Korean channel. Luckily for me, it was the men’s single competition! I decided to get cosy as I drooled at guys’ hot bods, listened to the awesome selection of music, and watched the wonderful choreography for about a good hour.
Just as I decided that Evan Lysacek was pretty darn good, along came a second-generation Chinese-Canadian figure skater named Patrick Chan. Let’s just say his performance blew everything out of my brain. I was mesmerised by his skating. So emotional and so raw! Plus, he’s cute — even if that fact has no bearing on his skating ability, it doesn’t hurt to get some bonus points from me!
Anyway, he took home the gold for this competition, which he rightly deserved, and I decided to be his fan. Beneath the cut is his short programme and his free skate programme. I could spend all day watching those two and be swooned away like a lovestruck idiot!
