It’s White Day, folks! I hope all you ladies (and guys, too!) have something special to give to your significant others. It’s celebrated in Japan and South Korea, but I’m sure anybody in the world can follow this holiday. I almost forgot about White Day until a friend reminded me. Although, it seemed kind of pointless to do so when I have no man to give anything to.
Honestly, it’s just another form of commercialism, and it makes me gag. Though the fact that April 14 is considered Black Day in South Korea cracks me up. I only heard about Black Day a year or two ago. Yes, I live under a rock at times. Anyway, I could celebrate it by eating jjajjang myeon, but I actually don’t like that dish. I’ll just settle for eating . . . I dunno, dark chocolates or something else that’s black. Black jellybeans? Licorice? Burnt toast? Bleeehhhh!
Nevertheless, Happy White Day!
