I arrived at Circle, the super-posh and happening club where Se7en was hosting his New York release celebration, just in time to meet up with our very own David Hou. We then were immediately escorted down to a makeshift greenroom by Pulse the karaoke lounge under Circle, were we made preparations for the eventful schedule. While Se7en arrived to a barrage of photo flashes he still worked some impromptu interviews with some lucky press.


The humble and sweet singer made sure all the press were greeted and then we were wisked up to the top balcony area where his stylin’ arrival set a cool tone of the VIP palor. Us Ningin’eers were then joined by our guest stars Girlybubble’s own Tiffany Robinson and SoompiRadio’s DJ host Christine Jacildo. We received promotional copies of Se7en’s new single and got to dance to the wonderful music of Circle’s DJs. It was really refreshing to hear music by 2PM, Big Bang, SnSD, Se7en and American artists being mixed together. But, the evening didn’t end there, not only did Se7en address the crowd but he also sang “La La La” live. He then returned to the VIP where he then mingled.


I almost ended the evening early but decided with help of a famished Tiff to go down to 32nd street ktown. Luckily I did. At the Wonjo Korean restaurant was a hungry-for-Japchae Se7en. Of course Christina (who was smart to bring her cam) and I waited till after he ate to graciously ask for a photo op and hogged Se7en to ourselves. An awesome Se7en smiled and picked out a area with an awesome background for our photo. I look forward to Se7en coming back to New York for some more events, we need more lucky musical events like these.

He will do promotion for girls and his next single.

If these do well then the album will be released. Much like what happened with his career in Japan.

This is unofficial but look out for se7en coming back to perform around JULY. So start saving your moola for tickets and a night out!

Nope. But there are rumors that YG might pull back from future US projects if Se7en doesnt get airplay. SO its important we all request his song being played on the air. Whereever you listen to the radio tell them play GIRLS by Se7en feat. LilKim!

I happen to not like the LILkim version of the song. I feel she took away from his honed talent. But I realize that this is a big deal. If its not my favorite video Im going to support it anyway. I want to see se7en to be the Male korean star to get on MTV his voice deserves that.

Yeah she loves all races its true. She has even spoken about Rain several times and how talented KOrean singers are. SO shes got the rep for the cause. I just wish she was more sexy and less sleezy. Sometimes her persona is just to strong for a positive message you know?

He was working sincerely working the whole night. Unlike the JYPE afterparty event where the singers were relaxing Se7en was always asking questions and making sure he was representing himself in a collective and focused manner.

I almost felt bad he seemed shy but dedicated to making sure the attendees heard his message.

I wish I could have went! I was going to go to NY for spring break but I’m so poor now. haha

You are surely to get another chance. Hopefully there will be some live performances in the US for July. Its really important we support se7en and all show too.
