Apparently, some turds are hard to get rid of, like those that you can’t flush away (even after the fifth try), and you stand there all embarrassed, stressing over what to do.  This was the case with the king of nude photo scandals Edison Chen, who testified in a Canadian court this week about the photo scandal.  I thought we would never see this turd in the news ever again when he left Hong Kong hurriedly after the scandal broke (dude has been hiding in San Francisco all this time). But just when I was about to erase him from my not-so-pleasant memories (save the image of his impressive peen, which did us Asian men rather proud, I have to admit), he was on the news again. Apparently this turd here was too afraid to fly back to Hong Kong to testify in the photo scandal case, so he requested for the hearing to be conducted in Vancouver, where he was born. More »

I. Am. In. Love. *swoons* I never thought I’d actually fall in love with an athlete, but I have! I was at work, watching a rerun of the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships (4CC) on a Korean channel. Luckily for me, it was the men’s single competition! I decided to get cosy as I drooled at guys’ hot bods, listened to the awesome selection of music, and watched the wonderful choreography for about a good hour. More »

I’ve stopped counting how many times Mario Lopez has said, “Whoa-ho, Quest Crew… is on a quest!” Dimple’s overdone pun may be annoying, but it’s true. As if the title “Rainism” wasn’t bad enough. Rain is re-releasing his album “Rainism” with a new title - Rainism Recollection. What is so different you ask? Simple, it’s just a bunch of different versions of the original songs already on the album. We’ve got “Love Story” in Japanese, Mandarin, and English, the acoustic versions of “12th September” and “My Woman,” and an urban mix of “Fresh Woman.” There’s also a DVD which comes with the 35-minute movie of “Love Story.” 35 minutes? I don’t think I can really sit through that. The music video was hilarious as it was already. I didn’t understand the plot much at all except the fact that Rain played a freeloader in some poor girl’s apartment. How that’s going to stretch into 35 minutes… Well, we’ll just have to see. Foolish was I to underestimate BoA and her power to lure the masses to a typically sub-par LA club last night! BoA’s official record listening party, held at LA’s Ritual club, was packed wall to wall with both fans and non-fans alike. On any other given night, this is hardly the case for this particular club. I’ve watched a lot of things lately that I seriously regret watching. After Infinity Challenge’s coma inducing “EnerGee,” I thought nothing could top my disgust. Then came along Streetfighter: The Legend of Chun-Li. Having seen the terror Streetfighter movies have unleashed in the past, I braced myself for a beating on opening night. But this time, the only thing Streetfighter hurt was my feelings. More »
