Ningin’s Kevin Desmond got to visit Kev Nish and Prohgress at Far East Movement headquarters last week. The FM duo talked about the past, present and near future of FM, producing with Jin the MC and Se7en, the hotness of the “Girls On The Dancefloor” contest, upcoming tour dates with Epik High, and another International Secret Agents show for 2009! The FM newbie FAQ - Part 2:
When I’m at the club and some ignorant, but well intentioned, fool says “Yo, these (Chinese/Japanese/Korean) dudes got skillz!”, how do I educate him properly? Kev Nish is Japanese and Chinese, Prohgress and J-Splif are Korean, and DJ Virman is Filipino. A true Far East Movement!
Is it OK if I play “Animal” loudly and repeatedly? Yes. When your neighbors come over to ask “please turn it down?”, they really want to ask “damn, where can I get a copy?”
Who shot the FM’s dope music videos? The mighty Wong Fu Productions.
