Registration is now open for the 2009 Miss Chinese New York Pageant! This year’s pageant is organized by the Miss Chinese Beauty Pageant Committee and Hong Kong’s Television Broadcasts Limited (USA), also known as TVB. The winner will become the next spokesperson for New York’s Cathay Jewelry and go on to represent New York at the Miss Chinese International 2010 in Hong Kong.

This year’s pageant will include a World Journal Network Photography Contest, a Boston trip on July 10, and a talent competition on July 31. The final competition will be held on August 30 at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT. TVB (USA) will be broadcasting all the events and the pageant. Online coverage of the entire pageant process will be on Woawa.com and MissChinese.us.

Other awarded titles will be Miss Talent, Miss Photogenic, Miss Internet Popularity, Miss Best Dress, and Miss Congeniality. All finalists will have the chance to be cast in Hairun Media Company’s TV dramas.
