Keio Academy of New York will host an open house this Saturday, April 18, for their “Digital Media Creation” summer program. It’s a fantastic two-week English and Japanese bilingual summer program for American and Japanese students. An impressive lineup of guest speakers has already been confirmed, including Yuji Nunokawa, producer of “Naruto” and “Bleach“. Not to mention, students get $200 off the program when mentioning Ningin!
This year’s theme will be “Japan in New York”. Students work on digital media productions like short films, documentaries, music videos and animation projects. The cultural exchange part of the program has students study English as a Second Language (ESL) or Japanese as a Second Language (JSL).
Other guest speakers for the summer program will be Michael Arias (producer of “Animatrix“), Shoji Kawamori (mecha designer and director of several “Macross” animes), and Roland Kelts (author of “Japanamerica: How Japanese Pop Culture Has Invaded the US”). You can find all the details about the “Digital Media Creation” summer program here on Ningin.
