Sony Music is all up in anyone's grill that hosts the MV. A real shame cause "again" is another great YUI song that you probably aren't getting a chance to hear. It's the new opening theme song for the anime "Fullmetal Alchemist" Season 2, YUI's first new single since last year, and spelt with a lower case 'a'.

What are you missing in the MV? A lot of shaky-cam. And I mean a lot. (Shaky-cam is purposely shaking the camera around trying to give a handheld camera look.) If I saw this on a big 65″ flat screen TV, I’d probably get motion sickness.

YUI pretty much just sings with a band in a warehouse with extreme shaky-cam, with some cuts to her glowing like angel in a surreal crowd. I guess the two looks are supposed to contrast each other. The dirty motion sickness warehouse vs. the YUI the angel gliding thru the crowd. It’s all interesting for just under 2 mins, then I went wandering around the apartment totally ignoring the rest of the MV.

“again” is a nice hard rocker from YUI that I recommend you play loudly (without sitting thru the MV). You can hear it now as part of the “Fullmetal Alchemist” Season 2 OST. YUI’s own “again” single doesn’t come out until June 3. That’s a long way off from now but I’m looking forward to seeing what else she has in store for 2009.
