Kim YeonJi and Lee BoRam, the two remaining members of SeeYa, held an interview today and finally spoke up about the issues they’ve been having with former member Nam GyuRi, who left the group on April 20th.

During the press conference for their new collaboration single with Davichi and JiYeon of T-Ara, the two SeeYa members were asked about the Nam GyuRi drama. BoRam claimed that just about everything GyuRi had said about her contract was a lie. GyuRi had stated that the reason she left the group is because they were mistreating her, when in fact it was revealed that the other two members of SeeYa always had to put GyuRi first, and turn down countless promotional opportunities to allow GyuRi to focus on her own acting career. She also said that she wasn’t being paid fairly, when she was paid about 5 times the amount she claimed.

Both BoRam and YeonJi say they are hurt, disappointed, and confused by GyuRi’s actions and hope to believe that she’s being manipulated by someone higher up, because this isn’t the same GyuRi they’ve been working with for the past three years.

If you don’t know what’s been going on with SeeYa, it was initially reported last week that Nam GyuRi, the leader of the group, had decided to leave the group right before preparations for their fourth album were set to begin, causing both time and money to be wasted by GM Entertainment. With two years still left under contract, GyuRi is now being sued by GM.

GyuRi hopes to focus on her own solo career outside of SeeYa, but after all of this she’ll be lucky to get any work.
