BoA has signed with Hollywood’s Creative Artists Agency (CAA) to give her U.S. career a much needed push. CAA also represents other Ningin favorites like dance crew Jabbawockeez (ABDC, Ningin’s REBUILDING THE BRIDGE fundraiser event) and director Michael Kang (THE MOTEL, W32nd). CAA will be taking over all aspects of BoA’s American presence including music, film and merchandising. CAA said they’re also thinking about a BoA U.S. tour in late 2009.

BoA has sold more than 20 million records in Korean, Japanese and Chinese-speaking markets (that means Indonesia, Singapore, etc). BoA’s debut American album reached No. 3 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart, but only reached 127th on the Billboard 200 Album Charts on March 26. (T_T) Hopefully CAA can give BoA that extra push and get her talent noticed big in America.

In the meantime, BoA is doing a multistate radio tour to promote “I Did It for Love” now that the video is finally out!
