There’s definitely a double standard here. People could care less if Americans celebs does the sexy routine, but when Asian artists do it, they’re sluts. You expect traditional Asian media to preach this, but no so much Asian bloggers. If you click through and look at the actual video, it’s not any worst than what Britney or Pussycat Dolls do in their video. Chae Yeon may be 30 but, hey great for her that she still looks that great at 30.

Lots of the visual kei bands play character roles, and so some of them have female characters, played by men. Think like how Kabuki theater used to be. Mana and Hizaki are the prime examples of this.
