Apparently, the NBC Peacock God is listening to my prayers. While The Office isn’t set to air more than once a week or Saturday Night Live hasn’t been made Every Night Live, the next best thing has happened: Mindy Kaling, writer/actor/co-producer of The Office, has inked a 2-year contract for a show last week. As to what the show will be about, Kaling jokingly tweeted:

“My show will likely be an Indian-American girl discovering Nazi war criminals and also Mr. Right?”

“I’d also be into any show where I could play a zombie. Who is looking for Mr. Right?”

In my eyes, Kelly Kapoor, Kaling’s character on The Office is deserving of her own show. However, a primetime TV show concerning zombies and Mr. Right doesn’t sound bad either. Check out Mindy Kaling in action:
