Yes… the goddess of elegance and beautiful voice has descended to perform a buddhist song for a buddhist ceremony in the Famen Temple in China this week. Retired a few years ago, Faye Wong rarely makes any public appearances much to his fans’ disappointment. However, being a devoted buddhist , she would make the exception to perform and sing buddhist chants occasionally. This is usually when her fans rejoice and frantically search for a clip of her performance on youtube.

As expected, Faye will be the only soloist to perform at the buddhist event in the Famen Temple, which is one of the top buddhist temples in China. Being a goddess herself, it is only natural that she sings for her peers in the heavenly kingdom. You can hear a clip of her buddhist chanting here. Upon hearing Faye’s godly and melodious voice, my bitchiness disappeared and I now feel like an infant — all clean and innocent.

She’s so good but she kind of gotten old and i stopped listening to her music

i remember her doing a song for some FF game, just don’t remember which one.

I don’t know many Chinese singers, but I know who she is ^^

ya she’s one of the few i know along with Jay Chou and Jolin Tsai~


She is one of my favorite and she is still the best. Am excited to see her comeback in a commercial

haven’t seen her in a long time.  she definitely has a great voice.
