To promote their upcoming “Romeo” single, SHINee bagged some guerrilla marketing techniques and hit the streets of Seoul to hand roses to unsuspecting women in high-traffic areas. Romeo? Roses? Totally clever. While it is clever, my inner pop music cynic can’t help but think, “Maybe it’s bad and they’re using roses to guilt us all into buying the single. A date wouldn’t hurt if they want to buy my approval!” If that’s the case, I hope they hit up all the women my age and older. Women that have spending power. (But in this case, hitting me up wouldn’t be such a good idea.) Czech out the boys in action:
