No, they’re not disbanding. They’re just breaking their ties with Ken-on, their current management agency, along with Sowelu and Mai Hoshimura.

the brilliant green is a rock band made up of Tomoko Kawase, Ryo Matsui, and Shunsaku Okuda with influences from Western music, particularly The Beatles. After ten years of being with Ken-on, the brilliant green decides to move on, along with Kawase’s solo projects Tommy heavenly6 and Tommy february6, ending their relationship on the 31st of this month. Their current official website and blog will go down but will be replaced soon by new ones by a new agency that is yet to be announced. So don’t fret if you encounter a “this page doesn’t exist” message. Hopefully an album release will follow or at least a single, seeing as they haven’t released anything in over a year.

If you don’t know who the brilliant green is, then I suggest you give them a listen. Their music is a little different from the typical j-rock that is known among fans such as L’arc~en~ciel, An Cafe, Miyavi, and Dir en grey, and also it’s nice to hear a female vocalist in a Japanese rock band. Try out their music below.
