Rising to the cream of the crop for pop girl groups, AfterSchool is deciding to add in a 7th member, as announced by Pledis Entertainment. Currently it is not known who this singer will be. Will After School become like Girls Generation and have 9, or like Morning Musume and have “graduation” periods where singers split off to do solo careers? We can’t be sure, but stay tuned and for now just enjoy the music.

I assume its to give the fans a variety of talents, looks and personalities to like.  Even if a fan only likes 1 member of the group, that fan also/eventually will like the entire group.  This probably gives a higher fan base compared to smaller groups.

that kind of makes sense. seeing how big the fanbase for SUJU and SNSD are >< .. compared to Wonderfuls ... i’m just making escuses now raspberry

but i don’t think it matters - DBSK = 5 members = Cassies made it into Guiness World Record twice in a row!

but i hope the group stops there. i dont like it when a group consists of more than 4 or 5 members. but they’re talented and i wish them luck.

Since AS is a new group, and they are filled with girls OF COURSE there are tons of things to update on!

but seriously, bands need to keep their numbers down -.- it’s already difficult enough for me to remember their names - putting faces to the names - without them having to keep adding more!

If they keep adding - it really will turn into a girl version of SUJU ... -.- and i thought we already have SNSD for that. Even 9 is too many for me -.-
