Epik High has been featured on The Source’s website with coverage of their New York concert. The Source is a magazine that features hip-hop music, culture, and politics. It started off as a newsletter in 1988 and slowly progressed into one of the leading hip-hop magazines in the United States.

Well, due to the sold out concerts and massive waiting lines across some of America’s biggest cities, it was a matter of time before Epik High gets some lovin’ from The Source. I don’t think the post is featured in the actual magazine but at least it’s on the site. It is cool to see Epik High get some recognition on a non-Asian-based-magazine’s website. Hopefully this can further spread the Epik High love and add even more diverse people to the fanbase.

Epik High has good rappers not just among Asians, but good in general.


Dude, the Source? I remember the first time picking up that magazine it featured NWA. Wow, that’s some huge exposure!


That’s so cool that they get a mention in The Source. That’s the #1 magazine for rap too.

probably not the best rapper in the world. but very close ^^

i don’t see why Epik High isn’t getting the same amount of attention as WG, Boa, Se7en and Utada.

Wait - are they even trying to break into mainstream US? or are they just touing for the sake of touring? lol

But really. Epik High should show the rest of the world what Asians’ have got! - TALENT! - Tablo is amazing

I think they’re just touring but it would be awesome if they did release a US album.

i dont epik high is fighting to break into american mainstream, but they are tryin some. i think their new album is also in english iirc.

i think when it comes down to it, people prefer pop music over hiphop/rap so thats probably why they dont get as much attention.
