If you missed out on this year’s JYP tour, fear not. The Wonder Girls are set to open for the Jonas Brothers World Tour 2009. Only they won’t be touring the world so much, but just the US — for now. With such a well-played marketing move (Disney? CHA-CHING!), I’m sure you all are just ‘burning up’ to see them. And yes, I just referenced a Jonas Brothers song. Am I ashamed? No. Without further adieu, here are the tour dates and locations posted on the Wonder Girls’ site: Turns out the Wonder Girls site wasn’t supposed to go live yet, but it was up for testing. Just that little bit of time was enough for Wonderfuls to screenshot the tour dates. JYP USA hasn’t gone public yet in the American press, but JYP Korea has confirmed the tour. We’ll have the official info when the American Wonder Girls-Jonas Brothers frenzy begins!

And since we already know my thoughts about the Wonder Girls live, here’s my favorite Jonas Brother…if I had to pick a favorite:

Hopefully we can persuade a Wonder Girl to end Miley Cyrus?

although, WG fans will be the most dedicated and awesome people at the concert ^_^

i’m so going to the one in IL. don’t know if i’m going saturday or friday...or both. let’s all attend to concerts and cheer the girls on.

This Is such a combination, but Jyp is smart bc the jo bro’s ( which I hate) are popular and there concert will give the wonder girls major reconition! I hope everyone Will love then as much as we do!

@danny - agreed. hopefully WG will open the door to asian music. the only thing i am worried about is the song not flowing well after being translated into english...unless they plan to perform korean songs at these concerts?

Here’s the thing. Remember when Ricky Martin debuted here? Basically the US before that, Latin music wasn’t too popular. Selena and Ricky Martin opened up the doorway for that.

Wondergirls is taking a huge risk with Retro style, its really catchy, and on its own merit the song styles are both familiar sounding and risque different.

They will either hit it big or sink big. I’m really hoping for the hit it huge here, the TELL ME will be very interesting to watch as it becomes a phenomenon in the US just how the song “YMCA” was. If you can make a crowd song like that, you’ll start a culture and be set for life based off of that.
