In a TV Patrol interview yesterday, Charice Pempengco revealed that she was formerly scheduled to perform alongside the late Michael Jackson in a duet/dance-off to “Billie Jean” for this year’s comeback tour. Like all of us, the King of Pop was first introduced to Charice via Youtube –last year’s Oprah performance in particular, followed by a Youtube video of her rendition of “Billie Jean.”

This year, she was approached by Jackson’s lawyer at a Warner Brothers party expressing Jackson’s interest in Charice performing on this year’s comeback tour. With the comeback tour scheduled to happen in two weeks, Charice had planned to announce her participation on the tour. In the interview she expressed her gratitude for his interest and her sadness and shock over the passing of her idol. Watch the performance that captivated Michael Jackson:

Undoubtedly, the King of Pop have had made a dramatic change in everyone’s lives, he mesmerized everyone. In addition, he brought a broader pathway and opened up a wider vein for more musicians to come on board. As he has passed away, many people are looking for Neverland Ranch photos.  Neverland Ranch photos are somewhat of a rarity, as few people entered the now dilapidated estate over the last few years, many of the most recent snapshots are all aerial photos.  The ranch almost slipped into foreclosure, and was bought by Colony Capital, an investment firm, with Jackson still owning a stake, despite falling behind on the secured loans for the property.  The debt concerning Neverland still has to be settled, and it’s been made clear that Jackson won’t be buried there.  Secured loans may be needed to pay it off, and recent Neverland Ranch photos aren’t much to look at. Michael Jackson is of good and gracious heart to pick a newcomer like Charice to duet with him. Like what Celine Dion did… I could sense that Asians will soon break into the US/international music scene ... not only Charice but together with her co-Asians ... Btw, if the duet of Charice & Kyu Hyun of A WHOLE NEW WORLD could be re-recorded and released, I think it would be a hit!

Like what Celine Dion did… I could sense that Asians will soon break into the US/international music scene ... not only Charice but together with her co-Asians ... Btw, if the duet of Charice & Kyu Hyun of A WHOLE NEW WORLD could be re-recorded and released, I think it would be a hit!

Wow I didn’t even know Charice could dance like that! Shes so talanted! I really wish she could have got to preform with him.
I remeber watching the Michael Jackson 30th Anniversary special in 2001. Oh the memories, R.I.P MJ.


:( mj was supposed to have a comeback and with charice for a duet!but a shocking and sad tradegy of his loss. R.I.P you will always be remembered:)
