Asian drama fans, I have a confession to make. I have Asian Drama ADD. Meaning, the chances of me watching an actual primetime Asian TV show are super slim. I’m a scatter shot viewer — watch a few episodes here, watch a few there. 2005 was the last time I watched a drama in it’s entirety. I blame it on the recycled plotlines and characters and the lack of drug use and sleaze. TvN’s upcoming ‘Apgujung Diary’ is set to air July 17 and looks mighty promising. The drama will feature Go Eun-ah, Jun Hye-bin, Amy and Hwang Seung-un pictured left. It’s based on chick-lit that follows the lives of the rich and fabulous (and single) women of Apgujung and Chungdam. Think Beverly Hills/Upper Eastside of Korea. But wait, where have we heard this before? Sounds a little like Sex and the City to me. Whatever the case maybe, I am going to hope for hot shoes, men and sex. And maybe I’ll watch the whole thing.
