Have you ever been to a non-English speaking country and come across signs that were written in English that you don’t quite understand? I sure have. The funniest lost-in-translation-signs I encountered include “Thank-You You” and “Silent Is Gold“.  Here are some of the funnier ones that were spotted in Asia. I found these on the internet.

This will make a great pest control subject, I believe.



It’s good that they didn’t call this the “testis” noodles.


Would you like to try some of our salad today? It sure tastes like crap.

They must hate grass in China.


I’d very much like to sit in a priority seat, preferably on the first guy if all priority seats are occupied.


The sign is quite reassuring, I have to say.


A sign urging all locals to rob the tourists perhaps?


I have blogged about this last year but it still takes the cake in terms of the funniest translated sign I have ever seen.
