Pac Man fans, save this date: Nov. 14. Manny Pacquiao will be scheduled to fight Miguel Cotto at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Jinra fans, save this date: Nov. 12. (It’s my birthday.) Besides being scheduled on my birthday weekend, there are a variety of reasons why this fight will be exciting. 1) Pacquiao and Cotto are both fighters in their prime. Typically when two fighters at the height of their careers get together, it’s exciting. 2) Both Pacquiao and Cotto are known to be crowd pleasers. So yes, there will be blood, tons of action and maybe minor drama. 3) Hello, has the Pac Man ever disappointed?

According to a Bob Arum (Top Rank Promoter) ESPN interview, a tentative tour schedule would be Sept. 9 in Los Angeles, Sept. 10 in New York and Sept. 12 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In case you wanted to get me a birthday present, tickets will be sold late-August.
