Rain’s highly anticipated (or not) movie, Ninja Assassin has released a trailer and I must say that it looks awesome despite of some doubts I had before.

Ninja Assassin is produced by Joel Silver (V for Vendetta, Predator) and the Wachowski Brothers (Speed Racer, The Matrix Trilogy) and is directed by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta). The movie was mostly inspired by the ninja fight scene in Speed Racer with influences coming from anime such as Ninja Scroll and Samurai Champloo. The movie is set out to release on November 25 this year.

The movie looks great in my opinion. It seems there will be plenty of action and special effects in the movie which is a big plus for me. I don’t know about the acting since it barely shows any in the trailer but hopefully Rain’s acting is past mediocre and gives him some recognition among American audiences.
