Summer warfare continues and it has been brutal with SNSD leading most of the way and rookie sensation 2ne1 getting some wins here and there. 4minute debuted strong but aren’t really in the running.

Ava and other solo female artists have not fared well. This summer is a bad year for the boys, so the boy bands (Seo Taiji, FT Island, ShinEE, Suju etc.) are licking their wounds. The only battle seems to be between girl bands that specializes in edgy dance music while wearing sexy outfits.

Meanwhile, Brown Eyed Girls who recently made a comeback with abracadabra has swiftly taken 4 charts at the No.1 spot.

I like Ga In’s short-edgy hair and her hips are hypnotic. She has a great voice too. Abracadabra has very cool vocal effects that stray from typical auto-tune default settings.

It’s been a great summer for kpop that’s for sure!

I’m just glad someone kicked 2NE1 off the top.  Their music irritates me so much for some reason even though I keep trying to like them. D:
