So far so good for our little Summer Reward promo. 12 days of July and 12 different happy winners! Looks like SNSD has a small lead over the other artists in our album pool. You know we thought Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs was a bad movie. When I wrote up the pin game results for that it was at 35% and has been steadily climbing to 44% now. Not the case for Blood: The Last Vampire. When I first wrote up this pin game it was at 29%. On Weds when the contest ended, it was at 25% (see screenshot). At the time of this writing it’s at 18%. Netbooks are all the rage right now. This is especially true of designer netbooks. I’ve seen Vienna Tam work with HP to produce some as promo from her fashion line. I’ve seen artists and athletes come out with their own design. Naturally, Japanese companies are going to get in on this and make the most adorable and cutest ones - like this Rilakkuma (relax bear) model. And it could be all yours for about $800 US!

Every year there’s some signature fashion trend for the summer. For 2008 (and depending on who you talk to), it was bold colors, skinny belts, and draped dresses. 2000 was famously the “thong year” because of that annoying song. This year, I would love it if it was these balloon slippers that SNSD is wearing! There’s a website dedicated to it too. Haha I just ordered a pair while writing about this. I’m such an impulse shopper ^^
