Can you believe it’s August already? July was a pretty intense month of awards and giveaways for Ningin. Between the Summer Rewards which gave out 37 albums to 35 people, the weekly poster prizes, and this frickin awesome SNSD autographed poster set, I would say it was a pretty good month. It was a lot of work just keeping track of all the prizes and winners! One final fun stat, we gave out 10 SNSD and 10 2NE1 albums. No clear winner there.

Lots of updates here so bear with me. First the July Monthly Winners. phanxuanna12297, ludachris714, and cheekybodacious. Those people are in a tier by themselves when it comes to scoring points on Ningin. They’ll be getting the SNSD Bromide Magazine posters in a few weeks. I hope they enjoy it! Now for the big EXP changes. Keep in mind that we’ve only done EXP for about three months and so we’re still experimenting to see what works and what doesn’t. So far it seems that the race for the monthly winners are determined in the first couple of weeks. We want to try to balance that a bit while still rewarding those that contribute a lot to Ningin. What we’re going to do next is remove the monthly contests and up the prizes for the weekly contests. Instead of just posters for weekly prizes, we’ll start giving out albums, dvds, video games, and whatever else we find worthy.

In addition to the top three weekly winners, a random user will be chosen to win the same prize for the week. So if the weekly prize are 2NE1 albums, which we still have a lot in stock, the top three scorers and one random user will receive them. To qualify for the random prize, all you have to do is score at least 25 points during the week. Easy right?

I know some of you request a prize poll to pick the next weekly prizes. I was thinking of doing the same thing, but not now. We’re really busy working on more websites which I hope to be able to share the details of with you in the coming weeks.
