I’m kinda sadden that G.I. Joe didn’t get higher reviews with 37% at the time this contest ended. But for every good movie based on a comic book or animated series, there’s probably two or more bad ones. Such is life. I’ll probably still go see it If the Yankee vs Red Sox game I was at didn’t become a crazy 15-inning epic affair, I would’ve gone tonight!

The Rottentomatoe consensus was pretty much what I hoped the movie wasn’t about: While fans [sic] Hasbro toy franchise may revel in a bit of nostalgia, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is largely a cartoonish, over-the-top action fest propelled by silly writing, inconsistent visual effects, and merely passable performances.

We had four winners, including Jin who guessed it exactly on the mark. Lumiere was closed at 35%. Vuong22 and ladycaine needed every bit of my 5% leeway with 32% and 42% respectively. Congrats to them! The Storm Shadow pins are already in your EXP profile pages.
